Heavy Gauge and Automotive Parts

By:

Built for Demanding Applications

Parts that go into automotive and heavy equipment applications don't get much margin for error. They have to hold their dimensions under load, fit correctly in assembly, and perform reliably over the life of the product. That puts pressure on the stamping process from the start.

We produce heavy gauge and automotive parts from materials including high-strength low alloy steel, hot rolled mild steel, cold rolled steel, and coated metals at thicknesses up to 0.390".

Our press lines run up to 300 tons, which gives us the capacity to stamp parts that require significant forming force without compromising dimensional accuracy.

The parts in this category tend to be more complex geometrically. Brake dust shields, large structural reinforcements, multi-feature chassis components, and formed housings with multiple hole patterns, embossed features, and tight assembly tolerances. Secondary operations including welding, drilling, and deburring are available in-house to support more complete part delivery.
