New Die Build

Custom Die Design & Build Services
Lime City Manufacturing builds precision-engineered dies for reliable, long-term performance. Led by a journeyman die maker with more than 30 years of experience, our fully equipped in-house tool room tests and fine-tunes each die on our presses until it produces a quality part before it reaches your production floor.
Why this matters:
- Dies are proven and refined in-house on our own presses
- Tight tolerances hold part accuracy from the first run
- Built-in quality means longer tooling life and fewer surprises
Built, Proven, and Refined In-House
We build single-operation and progressive dies, and we do not consider a build complete until it produces quality parts. We run, evaluate, and fine-tune every new die in our own presses, so your tooling is tested and ready for production.

Key capabilities:
- Single-operation and progressive dies (Class C)
- Presses up to 300 tons
- Tolerances held to a tenth of a thousandth (.0001") on new tooling
- In-house heat treat, CNC machining, and a fully equipped tool room
- No practical limit on small parts
Precision You Can Measure
Our team holds tolerances as tight as .0001" on new builds, roughly one-quarter the thickness of a human hair. This precision reflects decades of hands-on tool-and-die craftsmanship and a disciplined process built into every die we produce.
Experience Across Demanding Industries
We build tooling for high-performance parts across the electronics, pumps, medical, automotive, and defense industries. Our dies have produced automotive drive shaft components and military parts used in sonar and submarine applications. Whatever the application, we build each die to meet the part's requirements.
